Introducing a new series in June, The Asian Articles hosted what we call, "Cha Chats"! Attendants got to hear from panelists about topics ranging from racism, feminism, Asian representation through art and music to so much more! Watch the Cha Chats below!
1000 YEARS OF CULTURE FESTIVAL​
OUR PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE

Under this theme, The Asian Articles examined the rich history of pan-Asian culture, how previous generations have spread this culture, and how the present generation (Gen Z pan-Asians and millennials) are reviving their cultures in waves, adding their own modern twist to age-old traditions.

LNY KAHOOT EVENT

Participants joined us a week before the Lunar New Year for a relaxing Saturday of arts and crafts! We taught them how to create their own paper lanterns to decorate for the Lunar New Year along with a fun Kahoot game about Lunar New Year! The event was on February 6th at 4:00 PM PST.
ZINE WORKSHOP
JANUARY 9, 2021
We opened 2021 with the release of our first zine collection of the Fundamentaal Zine Collective, and hosted a zine workshop on Saturday, January 9th from 6:00 PM CST - 7:00 PM CST. Participants joined The Asian Articles as we talked about the interesting history of zines and took them through a step-by-step guided process on how to make your own zine!
