AAPI violence & HATE CRIMES

There has been a recent spike in violence and hate crimes against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the past year. A recent study found that hate crimes increased by 169% in 2021, compared to 2020 (CSU San Bernardino). The AAPI community watched in horror and fear as some of the most vulnerable were senselessly attacked. Many now fear for themselves, their friends, and their loved ones in their everyday lives. These resources can help you to educate yourself, take action, and help bring awareness to the issue:
